This Urban Explorer Found The Remains Of An Old Wax Museum

Part of the thrill of urban exploration is never knowing exactly what you're going to find in an abandoned building. There could be historical treasures, a few homeless folks, or maybe even a ghost awaiting you. Though sometimes, you might come across something genuinely unexpected and terrifying.

That's exactly what happened to urban explorer A.D. during one of his photo explorations. A.D. says that he and a friend found the place in question while they were walking through a neighborhood of abandoned row houses in an undisclosed city. Most of the homes were locked up tight, but one that was partially open caught their interest, and they decided to take a look.

They were greeted inside by the sight of this ghostly apparition. However, it was no apparition; it was a papier-mâché figure.
According to A.D., the figure was once supposed to resemble Harriet Tubman.

As they ventured further inside the house, they found old mannequin parts lying around.

It soon dawned on them that they were exploring the ruins of an old wax museum.

Upstairs, A.D. and his partner found rooms full of mannequin parts stacked on top of each other.

Seriously freaky.

I feel like I've seen this shot in a horror movie before.

What's a room full of mannequin parts without a coffin in it?

Nothing is creepier than a baby mannequin just standing there.

Among the mannequin parts were aging relics from the '50s and '60s.

Clothes used to dress the mannequins.

A.D. noticed a closed door in the basement on the way in. Before they left, he and his partner went to see what was behind it.

When they finally wedged the door open, they found this coffin inside the room.

Luckily for A.D. and his friend, there was no one inside it.
