Emotional photo
After WWII, many people in Russia were left without arms or legs, (called 'samovars'). Stalin hoped that the society would forget about them, because those injured soldiers didn't represent the war in a good way, so he sent them to the Valam island near St.Petersburg, where the 'samovars' were slowly dying out. After the fall of USSR the story went public, and many of the ex-soldiers were greeted as heros.
This photo is taken in St. Petersburg, and shows 4 soldiers showing honor to a war hero. This is a shame to call them 'samovars'.
