Chuuk Islands, a group of small islands in the Federated States of Micronesia. The historical name of these islands – Truk. Truk Islands history began with their discovery by Spanish explorers and continued studies of French explorer Dumont d’Urville, and then the Russian traveler Fyodor Petrovich Litke. After the Spanish-American War in 1898 under an agreement between Spain, Germany and the U.S. – Micronesia, with the exception of Guam, was bought in Germany for U.S. $ 4.2 million at the beginning of World War I in 1914, the islands were occupied by Japan.

THNX!!! AWESOME PICS. I spent 2 years in Guam, "Boonie" stomping and founds some wonderful relics from WWII, Jap and US tanks,,etc...
