This Imgur user, ohhaibroadcast, was told by his girlfriend that he could have no geeky stuff anywhere in the house except the basement. He decided to accept this challenge.
However, he has not gone down without a fight. He’s been using guerrilla warfare tactics to secretly place geeky items around the house.

Another fun item: Vaseline Glass. They used all sorts of crazy things to color glass back in the depression era in the USA, when a lot of glass companies had their heyday. Vaseline Glass is made with uranium as the coloring agent. It looks like a pretty green color when you see it, but if you put it under UV light, it fluoresces like crazy - glow in the dark! I just picked up a couple of shot glasses at the antique mall for less than $10 the other day, and I also have some old sherbert glasses from this - good for pretty ice cream desserts..
